- To promote and facilitate the exchange and transfer as well as marketing of mature technologies utilizing the latest and most effective information and communications technology for international understanding and cooperation;
- To stimulate, facilitate and educate policymakers, planners and practitioners on sustainable development issues and policies for advocacy with government and policy making groups using reults of researchers as strategies and mechanism for cooperation and sharing; and
- To encourage the development, promtion and sharing of technical "know-how" among village organizations, including management skills in managing people, financial reources and results of researches to meet people's needs.
