Objectives : Provision of appropriate energy technologies and products, e.g.
energy-efficient charcoal stoves, solar water heater, solar kiosks
and capability-building activities such as food micro-business
management, food hygiene and sanitation, systems installation,
menu planning and food processing, solar water disinfection
(SODIS) to ambulant food vendors
Benefits : new knowledge and information, savings on energy expenses,
safe and hygienic, healthy and nutritious affordable foods, clean environment, advocacy for recognition of ambulant vendors or legalizing their existence, health certificates and business permits, freeing them from usurers and financiers
